About BeTheBuffalo for Teachers
BeTheBuffalo is a bilingual K-5 social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum that helps teachers develop resilience, emotional intelligence, and character in their students. Our name comes from the powerful metaphor that buffalo are the only animals that run toward storms—by facing challenges head-on, they get through faster and emerge stronger. The curriculum is fully aligned with CASEL standards and includes a complete 40-week lesson planner already done for you—no planning required. Just open and teach with projector-ready lessons and printable activities.
